5 years ago, Snap-chat is created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown. Today, the application has more than 300 million monthly active users. Especially after 2014, snap-chat added many features such as "Geo-filters", "Stories" and "Discover" as well as cool "Spectacles" glasses by increasing its active users.

1. Originally Snap-chat was called Pica-boo, and it was first launched in July 2011 in Spiegel's fathers living room on the apple app stores.

2. Pica-boo was renamed Snap-chat when the app was re-branded and added to the google play store in 2012 for android users.
